Hey guys, how is everything going? I just got done with my sems and these few weeks have been most hectic and tiresome but I have a getaway and that is writing to you all.
Today I’ll be sharing with you my thoughts about a very interesting product. Though scrubs are very common but something about the Alanna No Age scrub is really unique you’ll get to know what soon.
Description:
As the name suggests, the scrub combats various signs of ageing, promoting skin health. Almond Powder, one of the key ingredients, assists in skin regeneration, further cleansing skin pores and preventing acne. It can also help in treating ‘rosacea’, the small red bumps that occur. Having a nourishing and pleasing effect, Olive Oil induces the feeling of relaxation and gives relief from stress. It is also a very powerful and effective astringent that helps in protecting the skin cells from acne blemishes, lifting and tightening skin to naturally slow the signs of ageing.
Ingredients:
Almond powder, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Cocoa Butter, Palmitic acid.
Price: 350/- for 100 gms.

Review:
Ever happened to you when you see the ingredient list but don’t find any characteristics of the substance in the actual substance? Happens to me alot. When I tried this for first time, I was really amused that it actually had crushed almonds and when I scrubed, it gave the almond milky extract which felt so nourishing. It contains olive oil, sunflower oil and palmitive oil and also cocoa butter which are so amazing for skin we all know. This is a really good scrub for many reasons like getting of the dead skin, Being natural, Cruelty Free, Paraben Free, Sulphate Free, No Artificial Color, No Artificial Fragrance.
The only thing I didn’t like about it which is also a major con is that it’s super oily. The oiliness doesn’t go away after rinsing and you need to wash the area again which soap which is really frustrating. Also if you don’t close the lid properly then all the oil leaks which destroys the packaging and everything around it if travelling ( as it did while kerala trip)
Pros:
- Affordable and cute packaging.
- Very nourishing
- Natural and healthy
- Good scrub which gets rid of dead skin
- Use after shaving to avoid irritation and itching
- Good for dry skin
Cons:
- Need to wash skin again after scrubing
- Leakage if not properly closed
- Not suitable for oily skin
Rating: 3/5
