My 10 Favourite Feel Good Movies on Netflix

So basically, I’ve watched almost every movie on Netflix during the lock-down. And now that I’m done and if you haven’t yet, let me share with you my 10 favorite feel good movies you can stream on Netflix. I’m just covering the feel-good/rom-com genre. And I’m sure these movies will indulge you in their world for 2-3 hours and you’ll be happy.

I’m not including the modern age rom-coms as we’ve already seen them. Some of these are classics and I can watch each one multiple times! So hey, let’s get started.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind:

I was never the believer of the saying, ‘If you love someone, let them go, they’ll come back if it’s meant to be.’ But this movie puts a whole new perspective to it. If you’re a fan of Jim Carrie and Kate Winslet or not, you’ll still love the chemistry and the story. It’s such a beautiful movie to miss.

Miss Congeniality:

They finally got it on Netflix, This movie had me in laughter from start to finish. I fell in love with Sandra Bullocks and her acting. Love her character, love the story and all and all it’s an amazing movie. I watched it twice consecutively, once alone and then with my mom. And I could watch it again anytime.

Runaway Bride:

This is the movie that got me binge watching all rom-coms ever made! It’s funny, it’s romantic and the Julia- Richard duo is just candy to my eyes.

Silver Linings Playbook:

Not much of a Romantic comedy but it’s a beautiful movie how two people suffering from mental illness find love. Making believe that there is someone out there for you who is equally f*cked up as you are.

Crazy Rich Asians:

It’s crazy, it’s funny and it’s absolutely great movie. Makes me wanna go to east(not anytime soon though!)

The proposal:

Boss forces his assistant to marry her to keep her Visa and you all know how it turns out, or not. I watched this for Ryan and Sandra. A typical rom-com? Maybe. But it’s something that’ll make you happy.

Before Sunshine:

I watched this movie long back with my friend and rewatched this during lockdown. It reminded me of how beautiful this movie is and I had to share with you.

The Half of it:

There’s a dialogue in this movie saying, it’s not a love story, and it’s true. There is a love triangle though. But the reason why I loved this movie so much is because of the back n forth letter conversation. The dialogues are so so so good that I still can’t get them out of my mind.

Carrie Pilby:

I don’t know I started watching this movie but I’m glad that I did. It’s a story about a socially awkward 19yo who’s just trying to find her place in the world. I’m sure everyone could relate to her.

Rumor has it:

Feeling, her family is the rumor a book is based on, Jennifer sets out to find the truth. If just watching Jennifer Anniston isn’t a treat in itself, I really loved the story. It’s funny and the actors did a really good job in this one!

I’m bad at reviewing movies so forgive be, I didn’t even try. But if I’ve missed any, please let me know in comments below. This is Netflix edition, let me know if you want more.

Thank you.
