Neulii Snail Bee Anti-Wrinkle Serum Review

Hello! Welcome to the second blog to the Neulii serum and this one is really weird and interesting which you might have already guessed by the title.

Snail slime? Ew gross! Why would anyone put that on the face? I know you all are wondering if I might have lost my mind, I felt the same too. But I’m always up for weird stuff. YOLO, right? When it comes to skincare, there is no comprise from my side. I go an extra mile for my skin to look and feel flawless. When I received this I was in dilemma whether I should use this or not, so I did a bit of research about it and decided to go for it.

Link to purchase:

Snail Secretion Extract: Snail extract, formally referred to as snail mucin, is packed with nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein enzymes, proteoglycans and antimicrobial and copper peptides, all of which are commonly used in beauty products and proven to be beneficial for the skin. It has even been registered and recognized as an official cosmetic ingredient under the name, ‘snail secretion filtrate.’

Propolis Extract: Bees produce a compound called propolis from the sap on needle-leaved trees or evergreens. When they combine the sap with their own discharges and beeswax, they create a sticky, greenish-brown product used as a coating to build their hives. This is propolis.

Propolis is thought to have antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. But scientific research on propolis is limited. Researchers aren’t exactly sure why, but the bee product appears to provide protection from some bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

The product comes in a cardboard box with all the details mentioned on it in both languages, English and Korean. It was very satisfying to see the details in English as most Korean products skip the language which makes it difficult for most to understand the product furthermore. All the serums have same packaging but are color-coordinated separately.

The actual product comes in this frosted, semi-transparent high quality plastic bottle with looks and feels like glass. It has good weight and sturdiness to it which is very appealing. The bottle has a laminated label which is very good. There is a pump which dispenses the product and works quite well. The product is Travel friendly and travel efficient.

It has none at all which I quite like.

Pump product between your fingers and pat it in with your fingers on the face, then massage it onto the skin using circular motion. Leave it to dry for a minute.

I use this twice a day, once in the morning before getting ready for college and then at night before sleeping. In the morning, after cleansing my face, I use this and it helps me with my pores and also helps me with smooth makeup application. I use it in combination with the BHA serum for best results.

Unlike the BHA serum, the texture of this is very different. It’s more of thick gel-like serum which is still quite liquid-y and spreads smoothly. You need one or half a pump for your face and neck. It’s not oily or greasy and absorbes into the skin very easily.

Final Verdict:

I know you all might be wondering if it is natural as it seems it is? I know most products I review are natural and herbal but never something derived from animal. But let me assure you, the product is Halal and cruelty free as no snail is hurt or killed during the extraction process.

After reading so many amazing benefits of the ingredients of the serum, I really wanted to try this for myself even though I don’t have wrinkles. Everytime I use this, my skin feels so soft and blurred. Leaving aside the wrinkling factor, it is an amazing everyday skin serum as well. Anti-aging skincare should start at the age of 30 and not when your skin shows sign. I let my mom try this and it made her skin soft yet firm. Continuous use can show drastic change in the skin which was observed. It is an amazing anti aging treatment as it is something which you can add early to your regime and it will have lasting effect and delay those wrinkles forever maybe.

It is a weird product but if you want to have skin like Koreans (of which I’m quite envious about) then you gotta learn the secrets too. This was a great discovery and I’m keen to try more such amazing products.

Hope you enjoy this crazy yet interesting blog. Make sure you share this which someone who might need this.

Till next time, Stay timeless! Love you all. xoxo.- Bareen.
